Neither harvesting method is scar-free
FUE can leave small round scars; FUT leaves a linear donor scar. Visibility varies. Be cautious about promises of scarless treatment.

Shaving is a separate planning question
Donor and recipient areas can have different preparation requirements. Request an explicit description of what will be trimmed before accepting an unshaven label.
