A defined treatment area
Explain whether your main concern is the hairline, an area behind it or the crown. Ask the team to mark the proposed boundaries and explain any areas left for a later decision.

Expect a recovery period
Scabbing, swelling and discomfort can occur. FUE can leave small scars; bleeding, infection and an anaesthetic reaction are possible surgical risks.

Early shedding can precede growth. The AAD describes results commonly becoming visible at six to nine months, sometimes twelve; your own progress may differ.
